We should acknowledge the game is a Huge Boost for NU.
It was the feature night game( Alabama was a snorefest,blowout regional interest game)
NU was more than competitive.The outcome was in the doubt throughout most of the 4th quarter.
The Stadium atmosphere looked great on tv.
Fitz looks like a clean cut all American young coach( as distinguished from some, who appear jaded, somewhat worn, and clearly less trustworthy than the usual used car or penny stock purveyor. The young men on the team look and speak like students at an elite university.
All of this gives Northwestern just the feel anyone would want: highly respected and respectable,truly intellectually serious university, which is fielding a student oriented football team competing at the highest level of the game.
The night could not have gone too much better.( Our time to win will come.Maybe soon.This could be our time for the Big Ten Championship)
