First look at Rose Bowl thowback uniform?

Interesting. That's not the uniform worn in 1995 and 1996. That's the 1997 version that ditched the Northwestern stripe on the sleeves. Those seasons we had the cat head on the shoulder pads and the NU stripe in purple and white further down.

Now we did actually wear those unis above in the Rose Bowl and Citrus Bowl, as they moved the cat head down onto the sleeve to make room for the bowl logos we put on the shoulders.
