I think I was one of the few NYC Northwesternites who did not go to the Pinstripe Bowl, but did get to see Fitz and NU honored before the game tonight. The Yankees presented Fitz with a nice plaque signed by the team, and he got to throw out the first pitch to Girardi. All that, and the NU fight song was played too while highlights of the win were shown! The school/local chapter arranged for 1/2 price tickets around the stadium, but it didn't seem like too many people took advantage of it (only saw one other person with purple tonight). Very nice way to honor the team's victory. Glad I went.
