To me, the defense has to be kept way more simple. I actually believe O’Neil understands a lot of different concepts and schemes based on his experience in different systems at multiple levels, but I feel he’s trying to do way too much. Focus more on preaching general assignments and sprinkling in different looks and aggressive calls cause what he’s called most of this season has got his guys completely confused.
