One thing I always hated about baseball is the number of times they break out the champagne. You break it out when you clinch the playoffs, then win the wildcard, then the divisional series, then the championship series, then the world series. In my mind, if you have more games to play, you don't break out the champagne.

Something I do find funny in several sports is when people break out hats and t-shirts celebrating a divisional championship. It's like, either you're not going to want to wear them anymore if you win the next higher level, or you'll forever wear them knowing you didn't make it any further.
