Superback Trey Pugh suffered a shoulder injury in a game on Oct. 14 and is out for the rest of the year. The injury is called axillary nerve palsy, which is nerve damage caused by shoulder dislocation. (Look it up -- it was a new one for me, too).
He won't have surgery or anything, but he's in rehab now and his recovery time is unknown. The doctor says it will most likely be around six weeks, but it can take months, possibly up to a year for a full recovery. The doctor doubts it will be that long, however.
Pugh is enrolling at NU in January.
Look for a story soon.
