After the game, Robert Smith said something like - people need to understand, "Northwestern is GOOD football team".

NU needs to keep doing this, maybe some day they'll get it, "Northwestern is GOOD football team".

I love the well-deserved credit Fitz gets nationally. It's beyond time for the team and the players to get THEIR due, too. Fitz isn't winning these games with scraps from the Salvation Army.

I didn’t get to watch the game in real time as we were traveling, but did watch the second half last night on FS1 replay. How much fun. Strip, scoop and score, Klock’s catch and rumble, Thorson to RCB, Lees’ block, TD catch and TD run, Pace’s plays on D, Big Ern’s dance moves, and Fitz’s Gatorade bath were all special moments. What a game. Go Cats!
