I can guarantee that never happened during my time in NUMB. Neither Pont nor Venturi would have been caught dead doing that. #FitzRocks.
He is hilarious as well. I can't believe the things he said in small settings. Really funny stuff but extra funny when it comes out of his mouth. Definitely not your daddy's NU coach but pretty much extremely down to earth and I don't think any story or word is safe. But all in good fun, nothing mean or harsh. Just hilarious. Things I couldn't repeat here but made 'good sense' especially when talking to a young man who was figuring which college to attend. Super cool guy who cares deeply about ALL of his players and the entire NU community. Not too politically correct but not ignorant at all.
I stuck my head back in the stadium for one last look on my way out and I think I saw this. It's great to get the full story.
