After a competitive loss against Nebraska, NU's bowl hopes are growing dim. Maryland, however, could clinch eligibility with a win in Evanston on Saturday. NU is improved over last season and has a competent defense. The offense has its moments, but is often ineffective. Maryland lost to Illinois last week and so is not invulnerable.

We don't cover and four trips to red zone yield 4 FGs

That tough new NU D will only give up 7 TDs but allow no FGs…or punts. Cats will muster a couple of long FGs - finally a kicker we can trust.

31-17 Maryland but the game isn’t even that close as we tack on a TD in garbage time.

17-3 Cats.
Braun’s D shines and Jake’s O does juuuustenough.
Maryland has a very athletic offense. Those types of teams always give us fits. Maryland will score at least 4 touchdowns.
