We better win Wednesday or we’re in trouble

Nebraska is a Q2 game at home and they’ve been terrible on the road. Then have to hold serve at home minus 1 and win at Rutgers and at Indiana. We can do it. We saw the team last year respond after crushing B2B Ls. But if we lose versus Nebraska… that would be a horrible sign. Regroup.

If Nebraska somehow wins tomorrow, they'll likely be ranked when they come to Welsh-Ryan, but Northwestern needs to find more motivation than that.

The motivation should be avenging the road loss, and keeping us on track for a tourney berth after two really rough ones, That really ought to be enough motivation. I’m disappointed and annoyed after this one. No panic. Nebraska home loss would start the panic. (Oh and btw PSU at home has me sweating because they’re PSU and those demons haven’t been slayed). NU *should* go 3-0 in the next 3 but it’s hard to feel confident right now)…

Would finishing 10-10 in conference and winning one conference tournament game get us in? Any credit for losing games in OT, or is W-L record all that will matter?

Short answer: No. if we get to 11-9: maybe. We need to get to 12. 13 gets us a nice seed.
