Hey buddy . I used my time off wisely: made money, filed paperwork with the SEC, made some hilarious videos for my Instagram, and even watched some movies like “Gladiator 2” and “Dumb and Dumber To”.Hello Sunshine. Welcome back from your exile.
Tennessee the Indiana of the SEC .Lots of B1G trashing late in the broadcast.
But the era of 18 (?) team conferences means that there will be lucky, powerhouse-dodging teams every year.
(A quick glance at Tennessee’s schedule shows wins over 5 of the bottom 7 teams in the SEC, and a loss to bottom-feeder Arkansas. I think Alabama is their only currently-ranked win. Their best non-conference win was 6-6 NC State.)
I wish yesterday’s game had been interesting. 🤞 for good games today.
Bring on promotion and relegation in the mega-conferences!
For a labor of love it is amazing how talented the group is. They are superb sports writers and analysts. Now if they could just get NU FB to open up some more.
Ciggy deserved it… talk 💩and team plays like 💩I am quite happy smug Cig got knocked down a peg. I am even happier they missed the two pint conversion.
I agree Hungry, we need a center who can play defense as well as dunk next yearHard to see next year’s team competing for a tournament spot with 5 first years coming in. Only one or two of those guys looks to be physically ready. We will need a transfer big and a transfer guard to have any shot at a tournament appearance.
Our experience has shown that we need three legitimate scoring options to compete, and at least one of those has to be a guard. I’m skeptical of Hunger being a consistent threat. We will miss Matt’s defense terribly next season.

In a way, it's a lot like 1994 was for football (without the gambling, of course). Part of why 1995 was so special is because 1994 was NOT a particularly good year W/L wise, so the jump, when it happened, seemed way bigger than it was. 2022 was similar. We were very close to being good enough, but for whatever reason just couldn't make the jump. Then 2023, boom, it all came together.
Thanks. But is my understanding correct? That NU cannot admit undergrad transfers beyond their academic sophomore years?Stone is a grad transfer.
