Game Thread: Northwestern vs. No. 20 Purdue

The concern I have is teams know enough now to double Nick and Barney and basically after them we have limited to no offense
Yep, me too. That's why we need Berry to take/hit open shots.

I'd like to know why Smith's and-one was considered in the act but Barnhizer's against Butler was not. That foul today happened before he even went up.

Now I just want Barney to get a double-double and Martinelli to not be shut out. This feels like a game where Jello leads the team in scoring.

Hunger started second half over Nicholson, who sat out most of the first half. Collins must REALLY want the "offense" Hunger provides.
I'm just asking but do people think this team is really a tournament team from all you've seen this year? They have flashes of that quality but I am not sure I see I'm getting enough Big Ten wins.

Why would Penn state be playing Indiana in

While their on campus place is a morgue and throw in no students back yet, I saw some on their board not happy with moving this “home” game. Chambers started doing this a few years back after his top 3 players were all Philly guys and wanted more exposure there to recruit. No clue if it’s working that way or not, but would think the current coach, who’s a good one, could stop doing it if he wanted.

Didn’t get to watch. Will have to watch the highlights tonight. I did do a ticket search this morning and was very reasonable…$15-$75. Surprisingly, looks like Woody had his team ready to go today, even without Reneau.

It's probably a temporary tooth but still no foul of course. Refs just do not like this team
The baffling thing on that play is how they call a double dribble when the ball comes lose because the Purdue player hits Barnhizer’s arm. They missed the hit on the arm, they missed the hit on the face. And that’s on one of the 3 best players in conference year to date.
