Any reviews of the left field upper deck, basically end zone seat seats but perhaps quite far from the action?

I'm sure they're fine as you're close. I've always done upper deck for these games (I go for RF at the 50). If you can get 1st row or middle of 2nd or 3rd row of what is the "upper deck reserved" (Cubs jargon) do it. Seats are great and are $100+ cheaper than the guys sitting 15 feet closer in the upper deck boxes LOL. You do have to worry about post obstructions if you get further back though this is less a concern if you're straight on into the end zone.

I respectfully disagree…BB will recruit at a far higher level than Lovie. He’ll handle the X’s and O’s, while delegating the other stuff to his staff. Pretty much the opposite of the Sanders arrangement in Colorado. There will be high school and transfer prospects lining up to play under arguably, the greatest football coach in modern history.
These days NCAA FB is more than 75% recruiting
Men's lacrosse was limited to 12.6 scholarships for a 40+ roster before recent NCAA changes. If they have raised the number to 48 , that would possibly mean a full scholarship for every player-there are very few programs that will or can do that.

Does the NCAA/Title IX require the same number of scholarship recipients(partial and full) or the amount of scholarship money to be equal between men and women?
I think it is even worse than that is that the number of athletic scholarships has to be proportional with the student population so if a school has 60% women, 60% of athletic scholarships have to be to women. Since most schools tend to have more women students than men students these days, title 9 requires even more woman athletic scholarships than mens. Throw in that many schools have FB programs that give out a lot of scholarships (85 scholarships or potentially even more now for D1) with no corresponding sport on the women's side and the result has been devastation of men's sports outside of FB and BB. (which basically pay for everything else)

Because FB basically pays for everything else (and there is no corresponding women's sport) it would seem fair that those scholarhips should not have to be offset. (or at least a good number of them) It would seem to be a logical way to protect other men's sports

Actually I wasn't aware. Seem to recall last year we got a little heads up prior the resale. No harm done, tix purchased and got same as last year. Michigan tix only $10 over last year's tOSU and MN tix same as last year's IL which was a pleasant surprise.

Appears no limit on MI, I bought 11.
I actually tried to call my ticket agent and ask when things would open up, I get so many emails that if I do not know when something is coming I don't see it. Left message and never got a return call so I am seeing it now and selection on ones I would generally go for not great. Got to talk with my buddies to see what they might want. Yet another cluster f**k

Death wish? Didn’t UChicago make a similar decision after being a conference member for 50 years?

I would say staying in is more likely a death wish as NU is not going to make it to the end of this game of musical chairs and could be putting its tax-exempt status at risk under this administration.

Are you being intentionally obtuse? I was referring to the athletic program, as this is a football board.

And UChicago dropped to D3 in 1973, when the financial situation was absurdly different.

No school with the intention of staying in the B1G would ever opt out. And NU has no interest in leaving the B1G.

Why would schools sign their own death wish?
