Very little playing time at Mizzou. Not a stretch guy— no 3s and all of on 26% free throws.Any idea if we contacted this dude? Entered portal 3 days ago, reports that TX A&M and Indiana have reached out.

Unimpressive numbers at Missouri. But a big time prospect out of HS. Maybe an angle here that he could get more minutes at NU than at others power conference programs.

We decided we wanted to add a target section to the basketball tracker this year, and then update as players signed or were removed from the board. Dynes and Schwieger both committed elsewhere after taking or scheduling NU visits, and Brown is assumed to be off the board though he hasn't committed elsewhere yet since NU has already taken two guards.Hey Matt,
In your article you list several portal players NU reached out to, but only 1 hasn't committed somewhere else.
I can see where a week ago SI.com stated that NU was one of 4 schools who had contacted Duke Brennan of Grand Canyon, the 6'10" center...
There is a more recent tweet listing about 20 schools who Brennan says have contacted him.
He's got official visits with Stanford, Villanova and Iowa.
Various sources are listing him as a junior - which would be problematic for NU admissions.

Yes. The athletes are the ones with the unique skills. In the sense that the booster clubs at certain schools have finally gotten their way, yes. I don't have a problem with compensating athletes that help produce great revenue for a school's athletic programs. There seem to be no limits, however.
Huh? Who/what do we watch performing on TV each weekend? The turf growing? Not sure, but I think it's the athletes.
