I watched some of the Whitesox game lastnight. More cardboard fans in the stands than I have ever seen at a game of theirs.
The cardboard cutouts make me so happy.

I like the cutouts. The Cubs game didn't have them and it felt off seeing all the empty seats.

The”virtual fans” caused me to do a double-take while watching Schwarber’s home run highlight.
I’m fine with the empty seats and don’t think they’re needed.
Perhaps it would be better if they had more antibodies.
I listened on the car radio the Mariners playing in Texas, It was exactly like any other game with the same crowd noise.
