Late in the 2nd. Anyone recall how many rushing TDs, if any, he had at NU?

At the half the one sentence summary from ESPN:

"Trevor Siemian doing it all. Threw for one touchdown and ran for another"

The love fest continues with the ESPN graphic showing his in game numbers bettering Rivers'.

Would have been another thrown TD under the college rules. The added field goal all but puts the game out of reach at 24 to 7 with only one quarter to go.

Chargers definitely kept it interesting but Broncos' Harris blocked the field goal to keep it from going into overtime. TS gets the well deserved win.

ESPN's Postgame Report on Sportscenter has TS 17 of 28 with 219 yards. Rivers has 22 of 33 and 192 yards.

Trevor had 2 TDs with one rushing TD. Both had one interception and both had 3 touchdowns total.

To top it off they classified Rivers as a Hall of Fame Quarterback so Siemian equaled, if not outperformed, a Hall of Famer!

He looked pretty good most of the game. Certainly gave his supporters some encouragement and ammunition. The detractors will point to the interception and some good catches and blocking. That one Pass to the end zone that was just out of reach would have been a thing of beauty.

Trevor's one interception was created by an unbelievable case of pass interference by the Chargers defense that wasn't called.

He threw two balls into harms way. One he got away with. INT was not his fault as it had to bounce off two players feet. Definitely changed the momentum

Also the other turnover in the 4th quarter was a fumble and not on him. Of course the effect of those two turnovers was to keep him and the offense off the field for much of the final quarter which lessened the post game hype about his otherwise stellar play.

Think it was behind the line of scrimmage, so it could not be PI. Definitely defensive holding, though.
