Athletes don’t produce great revenue, major conferences generate revenue via TV contracts. Like all other professional sports, the question becomes how big a piece of the pie do the athletes receive. Currently, they have limited leverage other than threatening to take their skills elsewhere.In the sense that the booster clubs at certain schools have finally gotten their way, yes. I don't have a problem with compensating athletes that help produce great revenue for a school's athletic programs. There seem to be no limits, however.

The fact that he's visiting a couple of schools and has "heard from" others does not say to me "definitely gone."I'm not claiming any inside knowledge - but does visiting other schools programs preclude him from staying? If I were in his shoes and if I were considering staying, I'd do the visits just for leverage: e.g. to strengthen my hand in terms of NIL money.
