I think the learning experience is that teams are going to continue to guard Nick and Barney with three guys so the others have to be able to score and as mentioned above that means probably Jell-O should play moreIf Nicholson checked out after sitting unexpectedly, that is completely on him. And shame on him, if it's the case.
I don't think there are any long-term take-aways from this game. It seems like it was over before it started. My best guess is that the team had PTSD from the State College experience.
I do know that in the last two games against good B1G teams, Gelo has scored 27 points in 30 minutes with 5 rebounds (and 7 fouls). He has to take some minutes from someone.
