On the road, at Rutgers, in a dead gym, on a Tuesday night, one game after a loss that pretty much shattered their faint dream of the NCAAs. We’ll see the heart and character of this team and coaching staff tonight. Will they curl up or keep fighting?

I have a feeling this is gonna be a tough one.

Jeez, the game already starts at 9 Eastern and they can't even get it going on time?

Bad news: BMac looks...not good at all. Pretty clearly still banged up.

Good news: Everyone else looks solid. Not settling for bad shots.

Watching Isiah Brown on defense is very stressful. Doesn't really know what he's doing out there.

BMac looks hurt. Not sure this team can get to the NIT without him at near full strength.

Now that Brown has been out there a few minutes, does everyone now understand why Collins didn’t play him? It’s pretty clear to me.

Every drive is a turnover waiting to happen.

So they got two guys back from injury three days ago and our defense looks lost.

We should be killing this awful team. But turnovers and giving up offensive rebounds is allowing Rutgers to hang around.

‪Very good sign: Cats have nine assists on their 13 baskets. BMac has five assists.‬

We look so damn sloppy. This just isn't good basketball. What the hell happened to this team??!!!!!

You can absolutely see the pounding his shoulder has taken, the pain he is in, and how awkwardly he is handling the ball.

I keep thinking the Rutgers coach is shouting:
“Sweep the leg!”

You're nuts. Last year @Rutgers, NU had 13 turnovers and shot 38%, including 3 of 20 from beyond the arc. That is bad basketball.

In this half, NU shot 55% and made 3 of 7 from deep.

I guess its the turnovers that seem so troubling.

Turnovers are troubling, but Rutgers is a good defensive team. (Their offense is another story). But we had good shot selection for the most part, shot well, and wisely decided to give Pardon the ball as often as possible.
