Hear me out:
1. Wildcats have played 6 games; 6-1
2. OSU has played 5 games; 5-0
3. OSU game vs UM cancelled therefore OSU disqualified from championship game.
4. OSU defeated IU; they’re out
Therefore Big ten declares Wildcats big ten champs.

Why not let Indiana and NW play?

Minor correction - NU is 5-1.

I want us to win the B1G championship by beating IU in Indianapolis. That's what it'll come down to, barring COVID putting the brakes on IU.

bad math--sorry!!!

Buckeyes are in title game regardless.

One proposal is you guys take a bye this week while OSU travels to Champane.

You guys cool with that?

Another is that Rutgers sits so that OSU can travel to Maryland.

The money and the prestige from the playoff is too much for the B1G to screw up. They want OSU to play this week and then you guys next week.

I get the feeling the Big Ten Championship is just going to be the last man (team) standing. All the scenarios people are throwing out now could be thrown out the window next week at this time. Hell, it could be Illinois vs. Penn State or something, who knows? Hopefully whoever is able to play on Dec. 19 can play and the matchups can be made appropriately.

What I do know is any way you slice it, NU has won the Big Ten West. They have beaten the other teams in the west (though they didn't get to beat Minnesota and obviously have Illinois this weekend), and that's good enough for me. No matter what happens Dec. 19, they can't take that away from NU, and they didn't back into anything - they won the west by beating the teams in the west.

No. We need a week to work out our issues after MSU before taking you on.

I say let you go play TAMU.
