ISU. New Hampshire. SIU. We've had some falling sky losses through the years.

The difference is we won this one. Getting halfway to bowl eligibility. With our backup quarterback. And a bye week ahead of us. And no Michigan, OSU or PSU.

Optimistic? No. But the sky hasn't fallen yet.

I had no expectations of a 3-3 record at this point but lots of improvement needed to win more games this season. Will be impressed if we can continue to improve and be competitive and snag 2-3 more wins somehow. Go Cats!

After the last 2 years I celebrate every win. We have 3 wins in 6 games. I believe this is more wins than we had in the previous 2 seasons. I think that we can win games with Nebby, Illinois & Purdue. Key word is can. 5-6 wins would be an incredible success under the circumstances.
