It's really wild to me the extent to which this team has done a total 180 in style since last year. Obviously this isn't new, but tonight, and some of the shooting performances lately, really reemphasize it. It's mostly the same team, but going from a team that's 100% about grinding defense but struggles to score and REALLY struggles badly to shoot into a similarly good team that instead just goes out and tries to shoot your lights out from outside every night is... it's wild.

Northwestern (15-7, 6-5 Big Ten) hosts Nebraska (16-7, 6-6 Big Ten) at Welsh-Ryan Arena tonight, the arena clock is on pace for an 8:05 pm tip. The game will air on BTN.

This is a key game for the Wildcats, who are unbeaten at home in the Big Ten this season, and lost two on the road last week. Nebraska has been fearsome at home with a 14-1 record, including a 75-69 win over Northwestern earlier this season 2.5 weeks ago, but struggled on the road with just a 1-6 record in true road games.

Apologies to whoever said this, but I'm not sure he was. Understandably, he may have been generally dragging. And God love him if he wasn't on top of his and scores 20. But I thought Boo wasn't as aggressive as usual and looked here and there for his moments.

Anybody else wonder about the tape/wrap on his shoulder where someone fell on him and maybe stretched something at Purdue? I wonder if that play affected his afternoon.

Not that Chris needs it I’m sure he is perfectly comfortable with his actions and the consequences. But he could then donate it to a charity of his choice or something. I’d happily contribute $100 to make a point to the B1G conference and refs.

Check out @lou v's column on this morning's two offensive linemen signees to the Class of 2024.

It's National Signing Day, again! The Wildcats signed their first 15 commits in the early December window that has become the de facto signing date, but just one of those signees was an offensive lineman as doubt was cast over offensive line coach Kurt Anderson's job security. The doubt proved true and Anderson and the program parted ways in early January. The Wildcats have since reportedly signed Bill O'Boyle and quickly set out to bolster their class.

Now, for the second, traditional window, the Wildcats are poised to add two more scholarship offensive linemen: Ezomo Oratokhai and Dennis Rahouski.

Walkons will not legally sign today or ahead of their arrival to campus as LOIs are a legal document directly tied to financial aid awards, but it is common for PWOs to take part in the tradition of NSD at their schools in a ceremonial fashion.
