My popcorn is ready.

Go Cubs Go!

OSU wins, but I like our defense to keep it closer than the line (NU = 30 point dogs) 🐶

OSU 37
NU 10

10 minutes to kickoff and looks a bit sparse. Maybe it’s the early kickoff? I figured homecoming for NU combined with the novelty for OSU fans of perhaps the only time they’ll ever play at Wrigley Field.

Braveheart is a good movie, but I’m not sure a game that is like the ending of the film except less noble and uplifting is gonna be fun

Another first down! Go Cats!

Glad to see we're running down the play clocks. No point in playing fast in this game.

This not taking care of the ball is getting old. That was a perfect drive until then.

Geez. After such a nice drive to start, and then Launch fumbles. If NU wants to have any chance to stay close, that can't happen. At least they ran seven minutes off the clock.

Big gut punch. Likely we would’ve ended up with a field goal since he was short of the first down, or could have still come up with zero if we’d gone for it on 4th down. Either way probably not enough for this game now that I just hear we don’t have Theran Johnson.

Cue the usual posters saying Lausch is still developing as a QB. Maybe he can develop into a QB who protects the ball.

Well, scoreless with three minutes left in the first quarter. I'll take it. Let's pick up some first downs here on this next possession.

Wow that is quite the impressive stat, we have given up 3 points total on the year on opponents first drives? Kudos to Braun and McG. Historically it seemed like we’d give up easy scoring drives to open the game before we adjusted and clamped down.

You guys are clowns. You couldn’t spot a a good young developing QB if a young Joe Montana was standing in front of you. Lausch was outstanding during that drive. The other guys are pretty damn good and I am not going to fault Lausch for trying to make a play. That was a great hit from behind. Give them credit without taking anything away from Lausch.
