It is C-C-COLD up here in Madison today. Thirty-four degrees with a biting wind. But it doesn't look like we're going to get any precipitation.

Complete whiff on that tackle after the catch leading to 8 extra yards…will not name names…

That is two passes on this drive that Marty through inside 2 the receiver instead of outside

Marty can't throw a deep ball & he needs to look to the second & third option receivers. Terrible decision making

Zero points from a 20 play drive. Brutal mistake. Why try a high risk throw on second down? You think that was Marty’s read or the OC? What a killer to come away with nothing, we’ll nothing plus a momentum shift.

We just seem horrendously weak on D. One guy can almost never take the RB down and even when we have multiple guys on him they get dragged for 4-5 yards.

one particular LB is lost every play, do we not have other options?

Is our defense just small and weak? I can't tell if it's bad technique or if they're just getting pushed around.

It seems we teach our D to tackle at shoulder pad level. A unique strategy that fails miserably in practice.

That’s got to be exhausting for the RB, running for so many yards and blowing through them and dragging defenders along. Maybe they’ll get worn out from that. Secret strategy?

Well, through it all, we're tied at the end of the quarter. This game is going at the pace we need if we're going to have a chance. We need to hold them to a FG here, though.

If so, it didn’t work so well against MSU or Nebraska. So you’re saying the third time will be the charm?

Our tackling is terrible. How did the players forget how to tackle so quickly after Hank's retirement??

The last series for both teams showed weaknesses on both sides of the ball for the Cats. We drive down the field only to throw a pick. Deep in their own territory, the Badgers get 30+ yards on first down. Nobody tackling on defense. Pass interference call secured the td for the Badgers drive.

Congrats to Wisconsin for calling pass interference on NU. Badgers needed it..

I would be interested to know the stats on how many TD drives in the Big Ten included a PI in the endzone. Maybe it’s just an NU thing on both sides of the ball. But it feels like a super high-stakes call. It’s why Fitz got the unsportsmanlike conduct call last week.
