Northwestern (3-3, 1-2 Big Ten) hosts Wisconsin (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) this week at Martin Stadium. The game is set to kick off on time at 11 am, and will air on BTN. This is the last game of 2024 at Northwestern's temporary lakeside stadium.
Where was the pass interference call on #6????
#6 was pulling Kirtz’s jersey and put a hand on his face earlySure looked like PI to me on the replay. I guess the ref had a bad angle.
Lausch is terrible so far. If they continue to throw might as well put in Wright. Not a good series after the interception, 3 and out. Our two top receivers dinged up on poor throws by Lausch.
This could get ugly.Lujan still hasn’t figured out how to maximize his personnel, or offense looks really inept
Yeah, that was a lack of awareness by Lausch. 2nd and 2, and he easily could have picked up the first down. Instead, he forced a pass for an incompletion. The Cats then got stuffed in the obvious run play on third down and missed the long FG attempt. Frustrating. He had a clear opening on that second down to run for the first down. And don’t like the decision to kick that ball
It is not unexpected that our D under McGarigle is a definite step up from JON but a step down from the genius of Hank. That’s why we need a much more potent offense, we won’t be able to compete with many of the teams on defense alone (Oregon, USC, OSU, PSU, even Indiana and Nebraska). When your offense can't do anything, you have to be perfect on defense and that's a lot to ask
